Job Description

Digital Marketing Director

This is an opportunity to own the digital marketing engine for HighTechLending, influence strategy across the customer journey, and build scalable programs that connect marketing performance to meaningful business outcomes.

HighTechLending is seeking a data-driven Digital Marketing Director to own the strategy, execution, measurement, and success of our digital marketing campaigns. This highly visible role is responsible for organic search engine optimization, paid search and digital advertising, Google Analytics, website optimization, split testing, social media advertising, and performance reporting. You will use analytics and metrics to continuously improve campaigns, increase qualified traffic and leads, strengthen conversion, and drive measurable business growth in a highly competitive and regulated industry.

What You'll Do
  • Lead digital acquisition across Google Search, Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging advertising platforms.
  • Own paid media strategy, including account structure, bidding, targeting, creative testing, campaign optimization, and scaling.
  • Own organic search strategy and execution, including keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, and AEO, to improve rankings, qualified website traffic, and digital visibility.
  • Connect advertising spend to qualified leads, applications, and funded loans by integrating campaign, websites, call tracking, and CRM data.
  • Develop lifecycle email programs for prospecting, lead nurturing, re-engagement, and retention.
  • Drive full-funnel performance, from first engagement through funded loan, with accountability for improving lead volume, cost per lead, cost per qualified application, and cost per funded loan.
  • Lead website optimization and A/B or multivariate testing across website content, landing pages, forms, calls to action, advertisements, ad copy, keywords, and email to improve conversion rates, lead quality, and campaign performance.
  • Use Google Analytics and performance dashboards to monitor traffic, engagement, click-through rates, conversion rates, lead volume, cost per lead, lead quality, cost per qualified application, cost per funded loan, and return on advertising spend, translating insights into clear recommendations for management.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, channel goals, key performance indicators, and return on investment.
  • Use marketing technology, automation, analytics, and AI-driven tools to improve targeting, personalization, reporting, and efficiency.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Creative, IT, Compliance, and Legal to deliver effective, compliant customer experiences.

Requirements

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, paid media, SEO, SEM, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success developing digital acquisition strategies and delivering measurable business results.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Demonstrated record managing substantial monthly budgets, auditing search terms and wasted spend, and making sound bidding and budget decisions when lead quality changes.
  • Experience with Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, SEMrush, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of CRO, landing-page optimization, full-funnel marketing, A/B testing, and user experience.
  • Experience using WordPress or another content management system and Salesforce, including navigating Salesforce and generating reports.
  • Experience connecting Google Ads, GA4, call tracking, forms, CRM dispositions, applications, and funded loans as well as feeding qualified lead outcomes back into ad optimization, rather than treating every form submission as equal; importing qualified and converted lead outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including dashboard development, forecasting, budget management, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry is preferred.

This is an individual contributor role and hands on experience is required. If you are ready to lead a measurable, insight-driven digital marketing strategy and help grow a respected mortgage lending business, we encourage you to apply.
