IES Commercial Inc dba IES Electrical is looking for a full‑time Electrical Estimator in Nebraska. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Your responsibilities will include: Estimating commercial and industrial projects (plan/spec, design-build, and design-assist) Applying best practices and established estimating procedures Coordinating project scopes with local and national codes Working closely with material suppliers and subcontractors Managing requests for information (RFIs) throughout the bidding process Reviewing and qualifying quotes for specialized materials and subcontractor work Preparing proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects Interacting with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures Travel as required Qualifications Recent experience or education in electrical field work, estimating, or engineering Working knowledge of blueprints, specifications, applicable codes, and regulations Strong computer skills, including the ability to work efficiently with estimating software Effective verbal and written communication skills High School Diploma/GED Valid driver’s license Successfully pass pre‑employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check (if applicable) Company Overview IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
