Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Initially, you will train on the first shift from Monday to Friday (7 AM to 3 PM) for the first month. Once training is complete, you will transition to the second shift from Monday to Friday (3 PM to 11 PM). Your role will involve installing new lines, components, AC inverters, drives, and control panels, as well as troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. You will also be responsible for breaking down equipment and putting it back together, as well as rebuilding valves.

Responsibilities

• Install new lines, components, AC inverters, drives, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Break down equipment and reassemble it.
• Break down and rebuild valves.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Multi-craft abilities including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, controls, gear boxes, and circuits.
• Strong electrical/PLC knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in welding is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment involves manufacturing bar soaps, which may irritate allergies in some areas. The soap is first batched, then pressed into shape, wrapped, and packaged. The second shift operates from Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM, with occasional voluntary Saturday shifts. Training will occur on the first shift for at least a month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
