Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in an acute care hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
